We care about our community and giving back. We focus our efforts on the following organizations that impact the lives of those in need in the Greater Seattle area.
WINDERMERE FOUNDATION
For the past 31 years, the Windermere Foundation has donated a portion of the proceeds from every home purchased or sold using a Windermere agent towards supporting low income and homeless families in our communities. What started in 1989 as a grassroots foundation serving families in need in Washington State, has grown to encompass ten states and has raised over $41 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, food, children’s programs, emergency assistance, and other services to those who need our help most.
FOOD LIFELINE VOLUNTEERING
Food Lifeline provides nutritious food to hundreds of thousands of people facing hunger every year by sourcing nutritious food from a variety of food industry partners. Food Lifeline distributes food in partnership with 300 food banks, shelters, and meal programs, providing the equivalent of 134,000 meals every single day. Simultaneously, they are working to end hunger in the future by addressing its root causes, including systemic inequity and social injustice. They do this through advocacy efforts to shape local, state, and federal policy, by partnering with organizations addressing other causes of poverty, and through community engagement and mobilization efforts.
NORTHWEST HARVEST
Hunger Stops Here.
Northwest Harvest is Washington's own statewide hunger relief agency. Our mission is leading the fight for hungry people statewide to have access to nutritious food while respecting their dignity and promoting good health. Our vision is ending hunger in Washington.
